IMPORTANT-READ CAREFULLY: This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal

agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity) later referred

to as "LICENSEE" and DiskInternals later referred to as "DiskInternals" for

the software product DiskInternals Outlook Express Repair Demo later referred to as "SOFTWARE". By

installing, copying, or otherwise using the SOFTWARE, you agree to be bound by

the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree to the terms of this EULA, do not

purchase, install or use the SOFTWARE.

The DiskInternals may have patents, patent applications, trademarks, copyrights, or

other intellectual property rights covering subject matter in this document.

The furnishing of this document does not give you any license to these

patents, trademarks, copyrights, or other intellectual property.

SOFTWARE LICENSE

Copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as other

intellectual property laws and treaties protect the SOFTWARE. The SOFTWARE is

licensed, not sold.

1. GRANT OF LICENSE.

This EULA grants you the following rights:

-You may use this SOFTWARE. "Use" of the SOFTWARE means that you have loaded,

installed or run the SOFTWARE on to a computer or server.

-You may use this SOFTWARE in compliance with all applicable laws and not for

any unlawful purpose. Without limiting the foregoing, use, display or

distribution of this SOFTWARE together with material that is pornographic,

racist, vulgar, obscene, defamatory, libelous, abusive, promoting hatred,

discriminating or displaying prejudice based on religion, ethnic heritage,

race sexual orientation or age is strictly prohibited.

2. DISTRIBUTION.

This SOFTWARE may be distributed, provided that:

- Such distribution includes only the original distributive file supplied by

DiskInternals. You may not alter, delete or add any files in the distributive file or modify the SOFTWARE in any way.

- No money is charged to the person receiving this SOFTWARE, beyond

reasonable cost of packaging and other overhead.

3. DESCRIPTION OF OTHER RIGHTS AND LIMITATIONS.

- You may not reverse engineer, recompile, and disassembly, modify, translate

the SOFTWARE and make any attempt to discover the source code of the SOFTWARE.

- You may not transfer, sell, re-sell, offer for sale or distribute the

SOFTWARE in any way except in accordance with paragraph 2 above. For

4. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY.

THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD "AS IS"

AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE OR MERCHANTABILITY

OR ANY OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.

YOU USE THE SOFTWARE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

NO LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. To the maximum extent permitted by

applicable law, in no event shall the DiskInternals or its employees, contractors,

agents, distributors or suppliers be liable for any special, incidental,

indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever (including, without limitation,

damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business

information, loss of data, loss of business opportunity, loss or damages to

property, injuries to any person or any pecuniary loss,) arising out of the

use of or inability to use the SOFTWARE, even if the DiskInternals has been advised on

the possibility of such damages. In any case, the DiskInternals entire liability under

any provision of this EULA shall be limited EXCLUSIVELY TO PRODUCT

REPLACEMENT.

5. GOVERNING LAW

This agreement shall by laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of

Canada applicable therein. You hereby irrevocably attorn and submit to the

non-exclusive jurisdiction of the court of Toronto, Ontario, and any competent

Courts of Appeal there from. If any provision shall be considered unlawful,

void or otherwise unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable

from this license and not affect the validity and enforceability of any other

provisions.

The DiskInternals reserves all rights not expressly granted here.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

I, the LICENSEE, acknowledge that I have read the above EULA and agree with

the terms and conditions of the agreement. I also agree that the EULA

supersedes any prior agreement, written or verbal, which may exist between me

and the DiskInternals on the subject of the SOFTWARE.

Beats all other free ones like object fix (which can't fix partialy downloaded zips) - this one is free and works and it is very small.

Made no improvement to the corrupted file

I had relatively minor crc errors in the file (as determined by a competing tool). This repair tool claimed to have fixed the errors, but the new "fixed" file was still corrupted in exactly the same places.

Limited functionality

I tried to use this utility to repair a zip file that spanned several floppy disks. Unfortunately it does not work with spanned media. For that matter I haven't found a utlity that can handle spanned media.
Other than that limitation I cannot truly review this program. I did not have any other damaged zip files to try it on.

First Zip Repair experience

This being my first experience with Zip Repair, it's too soon to form an opinion about the software.

I had three corrupt .GZ files, but the software wasn't able to repair any of them.

Though the software was of no help with these files, I will certainly try the software again the next time I encounter corrupted Zip files.

Null Event

Through no fault of the software I was unable to recover the zip file that I needed. The issue was a disk recovery of zip files that renamed the set. Unfortunately the file that I had assumed was a standalone zip was in fact part of a set, many of which were lost. Can't recover what does not exist;>

DiskInternals ZIP Repair is very good

I've used this program to fix several damaged files downloaded from the net. It compares very well to other similar programs, i.e. it could recover some content even when all other sofware I used simply failed. So I could recommend it warmly to others to give it a try.

Didn`t help

I couldn't repair my corrupted zip file, which seems to be recoverable by Kernel Zip software, for which, however, I need to buy a license in order to save the repaired file.

It is ok

The program do can retrieve some files from the truncated zip one.
But it does not give us the choice to choose what files we want do retrieve. Instead of this, it retrieves every file it judges possible.

It actually works.

I downloaded about six different demos of ZIP repair programs... and all six of them were the exact same program with a different company name slapped on. None of the demos worked; they all showed a progress bar for a while and then said, "Sure, this program can fix it if you pay us money..."

I suspect they are all frauds and scams: flashy interfaces with no functionality. So imagine how relieved I was when DiskInternals ZIP Repair (which has a name similar to the fraudulent programs, so it make me nervous) not only worked exactly as advertised, but was also free! It's nice to know there are still some people on the Internet who actually fulfill their promises and aren't just trying to scam a credit-card number. Thanks for this product!

I have used on corrupt file but it did not work.
If it can't correct or repair a file, what is its use.

Sr Software Engineer

Had a zip file containg 145 archived files that when opened showed zero contents.
When attempting to add a file, received error "Unsupported or invalid zip file structure". Through Google I downloaded and installled this "DiskInternals ZIP Repair" application. Ran the app and witin 10 seconds the archive was restored with all files intact. I highly recomend this product. 4 stars to the developers!

Didn`t work for me

I was trying to repair some corrupted zip files recovered from an undelete operation. The repair was not successful in most cases.

Unable to repair zip file completely

Failed to repair the zip file - good job I noticed that one of the files was only 99% complete rather than 100% BEFORE I paid for it...

Good utility, but could not fix gz file type

The utility was easy to use, but was geared for zip files and not gzip files.

Diskinternals zip rpair.

This program was easy to use I was abale to see the results but it still did not recover the corupeted files within the zip file.

FAILURE

This program was able to read into my Corrupted zip file, owever, upon recovery every File that was in my zip file came out as an EMPTY folder.
